From a text message saying “don’t leave me,” a priest searching for his lost choir, a ball that ends in a breakup, a hunter obsessed with a violin case, to an unexpected piano lesson... The stories intertwine, orchestrated by a cast of funny, touching, and surprising characters who often find themselves out of sync! Hors tempo (Off beat) is performed in French with English surtitles.

Who’s come a knocking this time?
Is it Lucie, Leon’s tiresome daughter, who wants help with her divorce, Ardèle, his wife who is ready to send him mad, Josephine, his mistress, who is determined to make it on the stage like Leon promised. Or is it Gaston, who cherishes their long friendship whenever he’s low on cash. One thing is certain, Leon knows full well that they want nothing but his money.
